An unfortunate incident was reported from Himachal Pradesh’s Barmour area in which one person died and three were injured—all belong to the Bhalessa and Bhaderwah areas of District Doda.
An eyewitness who was on the spot told The Chenab Times that the incident occurred after an electric pole fell on them, resulting in the death of one person on the spot and leaving many injured. The incident occurred near Chaurasi Temple in Bharmour.
Over the phone, a police official told The Chenab Times that the deceased was 13-year-old Pariksha Devi, daughter of Khem Singh, resident of Kaljugasar Bhalessa, while two critically injured were identified as 45-year-old Anjil Singh, son of Om Parkash, resident of Bhalra Bhaderwah, and his 5-year-old son Advik, who were airlifted to GMC Chamba for treatment, and one injured, namely Amita Devi (28-year-old) wife of Naresh Singh resident of Basti Bhaderwah who is shifted to Bharmor Hospital.
District Administration Doda is in contact with the Chamba District administration to provide help to the affected pilgrims.
