After a Month of Doda’s Shibnote Car Accident, One Of Three Missing Persons Found in Assar

A dead body of a youth was found near the Ganota area of Assar in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Friday, as per reports.

A police official confirmed to The Chenab Times that the dead body has been identified as that of Surjit Singh, the son of Dharam Singh, a resident of Jodhpur, who lost his life in a car accident on November 8 near Shibnote village in the Prem Nagar area of Doda district.

At least four people lost their lives in the car accident that took place on November 8 of this year at Shibnote Premnagar, The Chenab Times reported first live on facebook. On the second day, one dead body was recovered. It was identified as that of Aditya Kotwal of Paryote area in Doda district. While three others were missing despite three days of rescue operations, no dead body was found.

However, after a month of accidents, one of the three missing persons was found near Ganota in Assar tehsil in Doda district. The body was fished out by a local NGO, the Al Khair Organization, and handed over to officials for medico-legal formalities.
