Celebrations are in order as an Indian has yet again triumphed at an international beauty pageant. At a gala held in Las Vegas, Sargam Koushal of India was named Miss World. After 21 long years, she brought the crown back with the fullest grandeur.
With competitors from over 63 nations, Koushal’s victory is honourable and cause for celebration. Koushal defeated Mrs. Polynesia to win the championship. The Jammu and Kashmir-born beauty queen previously worked as a teacher in Vizag. Her spouse is a member of the Indian Navy.
The official Instagram account of Mrs India pageant shared photos of a jubilant Koushal after her historic win. “The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we have the CROWN back!” read the caption.
As per different media reports, her birthdate was different, while confirming her birthday to The Chenab Times, Sargam Koushal said that she was born on 20th September 1990 to GS Koushal and Meena Koushal in Jammu. She is married to Aditya Manohar Sharma who is an Indian Navy officer.
