In order to ensure alertness among VDGs (earlier known as VDCs) for conducting area domination, patrolling, and effective surveillance in their respective areas, all VDGS heads (category V-1) of Bhaderwah area were called to Police Station Bhaderwah and were thoroughly briefed by Inspector Jatinder Singh, SHO PS Bhaderwah, about their charter of duties that they are supposed to do in their respective areas, including area domination, patrolling, and effective surveillance.
The VDG heads (V1) were also briefed about the present security scenario and were advised to maintain a hawk’s eye in their areas and provide information if any suspicious movement is noticed by them. In view of the forthcoming Republic Day 2023 and other events, they were thoroughly briefed to exercise vigilance and alertness of the highest order in their areas.
They were also instructed to maintain close liaison with the Special Police Pickets, Army, and CAPF deployments in their areas to work in a coordinated manner by all security agencies on the ground. A WhatsApp group was also created for the sharing of information and initiating timely action if anything suspicious is noticed. It is pertinent to mention here that the entire security grid has been activated and put on alert for effective surveillance and monitoring on the ground.
