17-year-old NEET aspirant jumps from 10th floor in Kota

In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old NEET aspirant lost her life after jumping from the 10th floor of a multi-storey building in Kunhari area yesterday evening. The young girl was a resident of Barmer district in Rajasthan and lived with her siblings in the multi-storey building where she had been taking online coaching for the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test.

According to police sources, the young girl was found dead on the spot and the initial investigation has confirmed that she died by suicide. The Circle Officer, Shankar Lal, has stated that a diary was found in her room, with a one-line message saying ‘Goodbye’ to her parents and family.

The body of the deceased will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem, which is scheduled to take place later today. The incident has left the entire community in shock and has raised concerns about the mental health and well-being of students preparing for competitive exams.
