In a major development for the Taekwondo community in India, the Uttrakhand Taekwondo Association for Referees recently organized a National level Referee seminar. The seminar, which was held on 11th and 12th March 2023 at Zhen Sports Academy, aimed to provide referees from across India with a valuable opportunity to learn from the expertise of Master Sarbjeet Singh, a WT International Referee and 5th Dan Black Belt.
The seminar, which took place at the Zhen Sports Academy, was attended by referees from various states and union territories of India. Over the two-day seminar, Master Sarbjeet Singh shared his vast experience of officiating in official International Championships with the participants, providing them with valuable insights and tips to improve their skills.
Master Sarbjeet Singh’s credentials are nothing short of impressive. He was the first referee official from India to officiate in the World Grand Prix Taekwondo Championship held in Moscow, Russia, in 2018. Furthermore, he was also selected among the top 50 referee officials around the world for the Tokyo Paralympics in 2020. His guidance was undoubtedly beneficial to the referees who attended the seminar.
Participants of the seminar expressed their appreciation towards the Uttrakhand Taekwondo Association for organizing the informative seminar. They expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn from the best in the business and improve their skills as referees.
