One killed, seven including two minors injured in Doda’s Thathri mishap

One person was killed and seven others were injured in a tragic accident that occurred in Doda’s Thathri area on Monday. The accident happened after a vehicle, bearing registration number JK06A6939, lost control and fell into a gorge at Grid Station Thathri.

As per details available with The Chenab Times, the injured have been identified as Sourav and Gorav S/o Ankush Kumar, Ankush Kumar S/o Rishi Kumar, Rishi Kumar, Kewal Kumar, Charan Dass S/o Bhagat Ram, and Raksha Devi W/o Ankush Kumar, all residents of Bhagratha Bhalla (Bhaderwah), as per The Chenab Times. They were immediately rushed to the District Hospital in Doda for treatment. The severity of their injuries is yet to be determined.

Sadly, Sushma Devi, wife of Bir Singh and a resident of Dandi Bhaderwah, lost her life in the accident. The news of her untimely demise has left the entire region in shock and mourning.

The local authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident to determine the cause of the mishap. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case under relevant sections.
