Two Injured in Tata Sumo Mishap in Doda’s Kahara area

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK17-2048 met with an unfortunate accident near Charva village of Kahara tehsil in Doda district, resulting in two individuals sustaining injuries. Local residents swiftly responded to the incident, providing immediate assistance to the injured, while local authorities and the police quickly arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.

The accident occurred when the Tata Sumo, carrying three passengers, veered off the road, causing significant damage to the vehicle, as per Raja Shakeel of The Chenab Times. The exact cause of the mishap is yet to be determined, and authorities are actively working to ascertain the factors contributing to the incident.

Prompt action by the local community proved crucial, as they rushed to the spot and rescued the injured individuals from the wreckage. Subsequently, medical professionals were summoned, and the injured were immediately attended to. According to The Chenab Times, the injured lady, whose identity has not been disclosed, was quickly shifted to CHC Thathri for further medical care. The attending medical personnel at CHC Thathri have reported her condition to be stable, offering hope for her recovery.
