A youth was injured after being stabbed in the Nowhata area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday. The victim, whose identity has been withheld, was attacked with a knife in his native area.
A senior police officer stated that the victim’s injuries were severe, and he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. The individual’s condition is reported to be stable. The police have taken prompt action and identified the accused, Zubair Ahmed of Rajouri Kadal, Srinagar. He has been arrested for the stabbing incident, and a weapon was also recovered.
The incident has led to the registration of an FIR (First Information Report) under sections 323, 341, and 307 of the Indian Penal Code at the Nowhatta Police Station. Investigations are currently underway to determine the motive behind the attack.
