DC Doda Flags off Exposure Tour of PRIs to Himachal Pradesh to Enhance Governance Skills

Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan of Doda district flagged off an exposure tour for members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) to Himachal Pradesh. The tour, organized by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Doda, aims to enhance the governance skills of the PRI members by providing them with an opportunity to observe and learn from the work practices employed in another state.

Two buses carrying PRI members, including Sarpanches and Panches from the region, were sent on the exposure tour to Himachal Pradesh. The officials from the concerned department were present during the flag-off ceremony to show their support for the initiative.

The exposure tour intends to broaden the horizons of the PRI members and provide them with fresh perspectives on governance. By witnessing the administrative operations and strategies implemented in Himachal Pradesh, the participants hope to gain valuable knowledge that can be applied to their own governance responsibilities.

The tour is designed to empower the PRI members with the necessary tools and insights to improve their governance skills. It is expected that the experience gained during the tour will enable the PRI members to make more informed decisions and contribute effectively to the development of their communities.

After PRI members return from the exposure tour, it is anticipated that they will apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills to contribute to the effective governance of the region. The initiative seeks to foster a culture of continuous improvement and development among the PRIs, ultimately benefiting the public they serve.
