DC Doda Conducts Urgent Inspection of Thathri Sub Division to Assess Damages Caused by Heavy Rain

The Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, accompanied by SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom, and SDM of Thathri Athar Amin, conducted an urgent visit to the Thathri area to assess the damages caused by heavy rainfall in the entire Sub Division and evaluate the availability of essential services. The inspection was prompted by the recent torrential downpour that had partially affected roads and raised concerns about public safety.

During the visit, the officials carefully evaluated the impact of the heavy rainfall on the region’s infrastructure and assessed the condition of the roads that were affected by the incessant rain. Among the areas inspected was the Bhella Chiralla road, which experienced a cloud burst, raising further alarm about the potential damage to infrastructure and property.
