In a tragic turn of events, a 22-year-old youth from Nandna Thathri, identified as Musarrat Ali, son of Sabder Ali Wani, lost his life after suffering severe injuries in a road accident near Qazigund. The accident occurred on August 30 when a tempo traveler bearing registration number JK17 0353 met with a collision on NH44.
Injured and Hospitalized
Following the accident, Musarrat Ali was promptly transferred to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura for medical treatment. Sources indicate that he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for his critical injuries.
Tragic Passing
However, despite the best efforts of the medical team, Musarrat Ali succumbed to his injuries on the evening of September 5, around 11 PM. This heartbreaking news has left the community in mourning.
According to a family member who spoke with The Chenab Times, Musarrat Ali’s body was in the custody of the police for medico-legal formalities. Following these procedures, his remains will be handed over to the grieving family.
