Jodhpur Accident: JCB Incident Leaves One Dead, Several Injured

A tragic incident unfolded today in the quiet village of Kashore, Jodhpur in Doda district, as a JCB vehicle carrying passengers met with a grave accident. The incident has left one person dead and several others injured, casting a somber shadow over the local populace.

The list of injured individuals involved in the unfortunate accident includes:

  1. Surekha Devi, aged 30, Wife of Sanjay, residing in Itwas, Jodhpur.
  2. Champa Devi, aged 32, Wife of Sanjeet Singh, hailing from Jodhpur Itwas.
  3. Mansvi Parihar, aged 5, Daughter of Sanjay, a resident of Itwas.
  4. Shriya Parihar, aged 4, Daughter of Sanjay, residing in Itwas.
  5. Manik Thakur, aged 5, Son of Rakesh Singh, a resident of Itwas.
  6. Kasher Thakur, aged 4, Son of Rakesh Singh, living in Itwas.
  7. Manakesh Thakur, aged 5, Son of Sanjeet Singh, hailing from Itwas.
  8. JCB Driver Salman Butt.

The accident occurred under circumstances that are still under investigation. According to a local witness who spoke to The Chenab Times, the JCB vehicle was transporting these individuals, seemingly offering them a lift on a hot and sunny day. However, the precise details of the incident are yet to be disclosed, and authorities are actively pursuing the investigation.

The injured victims were promptly transported to Government Medical College (GMC) in Doda for medical attention. Of these, two individuals in critical condition were referred to GMC Jammu for specialized care. Tragically, Champa Devi, one of the passengers, succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at GMC Doda.
