A tragic accident occurred near Nayi Basti-Drudu area of Bhaderwah in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, claiming the life of a 42-year-old man identified as Munish Kotwal. The collision took place between a motorcycle, bearing registration number JK02X 8775, and a Tata Sumo, registered as JK06 4779.
According to Abrar Batt, The Chenab Times correspondent from Bhaderwah, the incident unfolded on the Doda-Bhaderwah Highway near Nayi Basti-Drudu area, and the collision proved fatal for Mr. Munish Kotwal, who was riding the motorcycle at the time of the accident. He was the son of Om Prakash and a resident of Kharothi. Eyewitnesses reported the severity of the collision, and it resulted in Mr. Kotwal losing his life on the spot, as per various livestreams and videos circulated on social media.
Following the tragic incident, local authorities and first responders swiftly arrived at the spot. The injured Mr. Kotwal was immediately rushed to a SDH Bhaderwah. Regrettably, medical professionals declared him brought dead upon arrival.
