Speaking to The Chenab Times, DDC Nagsini Faisal Hussain has shed light on the difficulties faced during the transportation of the deceased, Noor Hussain, to his native village, citing a lack of a footbridge in the vicinity. The unfortunate incident, compounded by the absence of essential infrastructure, has prompted appeals for swift relief for the grieving family, particularly in consideration of their financial constraints.

Mohd Shafi, identified as a financially disadvantaged individual by DDC Nagsini Faisal Hussain, is grappling with the loss of his son and the subsequent challenges associated with the transportation of the deceased. Faisal Hussain has formally requested expedited relief from the administration to alleviate the burdens faced by the grieving family.
The House Collapse
In a series of unfortunate events in Nagsini, Faisal Hussain, a representative from the District Development Council (DDC), provided a detailed account of the tragic incident to The Chenab Times. The incident commenced with the unfortunate demise of Noor Hussain, son of Mohd Shafi, who met a fatal end after falling into a gorge. The subsequent events unfolded with a sudden and catastrophic house collapse.
According to Hussain, after Noor Hussain’s accidental fall, he was swiftly transported to the District Hospital Kishtwar, where medical professionals pronounced him deceased. The grieving family, accompanied by Noor’s lifeless body, returned home to make arrangements for the funeral.
As preparations for the funeral prayers were underway at Shafi’s residence rooftop, a sudden and unexpected catastrophe struck. The house collapsed, resulting in injuries to approximately 11-12 people present. Among the injured, six individuals sustained major injuries and were promptly shifted to the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Keeru. Some of the seriously affected individuals were subsequently referred to the District Hospital Kishtwar for advanced medical care.
