A tragic accident on the Khelani-Marmat road in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in one fatality and one injury earlier today
An Alto car with registration number JK06B 7767 reportedly lost control and plunged into a deep gorge along the route.
Irshad Hussain, son of Abdul Rasheed and resident of Mangota, was unfortunately declared dead at the scene by responding emergency personnel.
Another occupant of the vehicle, Yasir Hussain, son of Abdul Rasheed and also a resident of Mangota, sustained injuries in the accident. Yasir Hussain was promptly transported to the Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.
Local authorities, including the Doda Police, are currently investigating the cause of the accident. No official statement has been released regarding the potential cause at this time.
