Nine people were injured in a road accident that occurred this morning near the Gadsu area of Doda district on the Batote-Kishtwar National Highway (NH244).
According to sources of The Chenab Times from the Government Medical College (GMC) Doda, a passenger vehicle collided with several other vehicles involved in the accident. Seven of the injured are residents of Kishtwar district, one is from Achbal Anantnag, and another is from Punjab. The injuries are reported to be non-fatal.
The details of the cause of the accident and the condition of the injured are still being awaited.
