A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision with a car near Shibnote Pul in Doda district’s Premnagar area today.
The accident involved a car registered under JK02DD 0238 and a motorcycle bearing registration number JK17A 4184, sourced told The Chenab Times. Alert bystanders promptly informed the police, who arrived at the scene swiftly.
The injured biker has been identified as 21-year-old Jatin Sharma, son of Rakesh Sharma, a resident of Gulhar in Kishtwar district. He was shifted to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Thathri for medical treatment. According to sources at The Chenab Times, Sharma is in stable condition despite sustaining injuries.
Images received by The Chenab Times indicate that the motorcycle received significant damage to its front end, while the car sustained minor damage on the right front bumper and headlight.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Doda police.
