Two residents of Chuchatter village in Topneel, Doda district, lost their lives in a road accident on Saturday.
The accident occurred in the Chuchatter area and involved a white EECO van with registration number JK06B 2326. Sources indicate the vehicle was travelling from Doda towards Chuchatter when the incident took place.
Police sources of The Chenab Times identified the deceased as Irshad Ahmed, son of Mohd Maqbool, and Yashpal Singh, son of Amar Nath, both residents of Chuchatter. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
