Doda, November 18: Sandeep Singh, a 25-year-old resident of Malan A Panchayat in the Dessa area of Doda district, tragically lost his life on November 16 allegedly due to an electric shock while working in Khalsi, Ladakh.
Sandeep, the son of Hari Singh, had been employed as a laborer in Ladakh and was known for his hard work and dedication. Local sources told The Chenab Times that he had been eagerly preparing to return home on November 19 to attend the wedding of his cousin sister. However, fate intervened in the form of a fatal accident.
Reports suggest that Sandeep was carrying out his work duties when he came into contact with a live electrical wire, leading to his untimely demise. The incident has left his family and relatives in shock and mourning.
Authorities in Ladakh are reportedly investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. The body of the deceased is expected to be transported to his hometown today for the final rites.
