SRINAGAR, April 20 — The Ehsaas Foundation has expressed profound grief over the passing of renowned Shia scholar Allama Agha Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosavi Al-Najfi, whose death was earlier reported by The Chenab Times.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Foundation paid rich tributes to the late scholar, describing him as a “beacon of hope and resilience” who consistently championed sectarian harmony and interfaith brotherhood.
“Baqir Al-Moosavi was a man of grit, determination, and scholarly acumen,” the statement read. “He had disciples from across ideological and geographical spectrums, a testament to his inclusive and far-reaching influence.”
The Foundation highlighted Al-Moosavi’s lifelong commitment to religious education and spiritual mentorship, stating that he “continued to teach and inspire until his last breath,” and that his demise “has created a great void in the scholarly landscape.”
Extending condolences, the Foundation said, “We at Ehsaas Foundation convey our deep sympathies to the bereaved family, and to all followers and admirers of Baqir Al-Moosavi. We pray for his soul to be granted the highest place in Jannah and for strength to those in mourning.”
Al-Moosavi’s passing has been widely mourned across the religious and academic communities, with tributes pouring in from various quarters acknowledging his role in fostering unity and intellectual discourse.
