KATHUA, Aug 18 — The Deputy Commissioner of Kathua has ordered the cancellation of all types of leave, except medical leave, for government employees in the district with immediate effect.
According to details received by The Chenab Times, the order, issued by Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, directs all employees currently on leave to return to their respective headquarters immediately. No new leave applications will be entertained without approval from the undersigned authority.
The order further instructs Heads of Departments to ensure strict compliance, warning that non-compliance will attract disciplinary action under service rules.
The directive has been circulated to the Financial Commissioner Revenue, J&K, General Administration Department, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, and other senior officials for information and compliance.
