KISHTWAR, Sept. 2 — A 22-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband in Sangram Bhatta, Kishtwar, during the intervening night of September 1-2, 2025, sources said.
A newlywed bride, was reportedly murdered by her husband, Amir Mushtaq, at their residence in Sangram Bhatta, Kishtwar, according to details received by The Chenab Times. The Kishtwar Police have taken Amir Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmed, into custody and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of the incident. The allegations are yet to be fully investigated, authorities confirmed.
No further details were immediately available as the police continue their inquiry.
