JAMMU — The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has postponed the OMR-based written examination for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in the Power Development Department from September 21 to October 25, 2025, according to details received by The Chenab Times.
The exam, originally scheduled under Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2025 dated February 27, 2025, will now be conducted on the revised date, JKSSB stated in its order dated September 16, 2025. Admit cards will be hosted on the official JKSSB website, www.jkssb.nic.in, from October 20, 2025.
The postponement was notified for the information of all concerned candidates. Copies of the order have been forwarded to the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department; Deputy Commissioners of Jammu and Srinagar for publication in leading local newspapers for three consecutive days; and other relevant authorities, including the Secretary and Administrative Officer of JKSSB.
