Baramulla, March 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), District Centre Baramulla, has initiated a series of developmental programmes aimed at fostering enterprise growth under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the institute commenced an Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (ESDP) at ITI Pattan and simultaneously launched a six-day, 30-hour Management Development Programme (MDP), Batch-VIII, at ITI Baramulla.
A total of 54 participants, comprising both male and female candidates, have enrolled across these two programmes. The ESDP has attracted 32 participants, while the MDP has 22 individuals enrolled.
These programmes are meticulously designed to impart essential knowledge and skills crucial for sustainable enterprise development. Key focus areas include entrepreneurship development principles, comprehensive business planning, effective financial management, strategic marketing approaches, awareness of various government schemes, and the cultivation of critical soft skills necessary for budding entrepreneurs.
The inauguration of these programmes was overseen by the ITI Superintendents, Er. Showkat Ahmad and Er. Javed Ahmad. The initiatives are being coordinated by JKEDI faculty members under the direct guidance of Imtiyaz Ahad, the District Nodal Officer for JKEDI District Centre Baramulla.
