Jammu, August 29: The investigation into the alleged rape and subsequent death of a 15-year-old girl in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir has been transferred to the Crime Branch, officials confirmed on Saturday. The case involves allegations of a prolonged sexual assault by a school teacher and the girl’s death during an attempted pregnancy termination.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the teenager, who was reportedly a student, died on August 20.
