The collectible toy giant POP MART is set to captivate fans with its latest offering, a collaboration that merges its popular “Peach Riot” characters with the aesthetic of Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters.” This new line, dubbed “KPop Demon Hunters Bag Charms,” reimagines the punk-rock trio—Gigi, Frankie, and Poppy—in outfits inspired by the HUNTR/X universe, aiming to replicate the success of its previous Labubu releases.
Information was available with The Chenab Times that the collection features six distinct blind box designs, with each charm measuring approximately 6.5 inches. The designs showcase the Peach Riot characters dressed in HUNTR/X-inspired “How It’s Done” and “What It Sounds Like” stage outfits. Additionally, a secret chase design featuring Gigi with a Derpy Tiger-inspired look is available, reportedly with odds of 1 in 72.
The collaboration taps into the current trend of fictional girl groups gaining traction in popular culture. POP MART’s move to pair Peach Riot with “KPop Demon Hunters” is seen as a strategic alignment with this trend, positioning the collectible crossover as a potential must-have item for fans. The brand has previously seen its collectibles amplified by celebrity endorsements, with figures like Doja Cat and BLACKPINK’s LISA incorporating them into their fashion statements.
These new bag charms are available for purchase individually in blind boxes, priced at $29.99 each. Fans also have the option to buy a complete set to ensure they collect all the designs. The collection launched on October 30th and is available through POP MART’s official website and physical stores. This release follows a series of other POP MART collaborations, including those featuring Labubu, Molly, and characters from various entertainment franchises.
The strategy behind such collaborations highlights the growing market for designer toys and collectibles, where limited releases and crossover licensing create premium opportunities. POP MART leverages platform-owned characters and intellectual properties to deepen franchise monetization beyond simple viewership or subscription models. The “KPop Demon Hunters” and Peach Riot collaboration exemplifies how character-based charms can expand the accessory market, allowing consumers to express pop culture affiliations through personal styling.
