The Chenab Times has learned that Southgate’s media company, 1071 Media, will collaborate with Sky Sports on a weekly podcast and YouTube show titled ‘The Football Dugout.’ Sky Media will handle the commercial representation for these formats.
The series is set to be hosted by Mark Chapman, a familiar voice from the BBC‘s ‘Match of the Day,’ and will feature footballer Conor Coady as a co-host. The collaboration signals a significant move for Southgate into the digital content space, leveraging his extensive experience in football management.
Details regarding the specific launch date and the precise nature of the content to be featured in ‘The Football Dugout’ have not yet been fully disclosed. However, the partnership indicates a strategic expansion for both Southgate’s media ventures and Sky Sports’ commitment to delivering engaging football-related programming to its audience.
Southgate concluded his eight-year tenure as England manager in December 2023.
