Omar Abdullah

Omar Abdullah is an Kashmiri politician and the current Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. A senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC), he comes from a prominent political family as the son of Farooq Abdullah and grandson of Sheikh Abdullah, both of whom served as Chief Ministers of the region. Known for his focus on regional issues and development, Omar previously served as Chief Minister from 2009 to 2015 and has been a Member of Parliament, representing Srinagar in the Lok Sabha.
