J&K Police started installing CCTV Cameras in Bhaderwah
BHADERWAH , MARCH 08—The Jammu and Kashmir Police has started installing CCTV cameras at 10 exit and entry points in Bhaderwah town of Chenab Valley .The locations selected for installation of CCTV cameras were finalised by a team of police officials to monitor movement and activities of anti-social elements, sources said.The decision to install CCTV cameras was taken during a recent security review meeting of district police.”The police has stepped up the present security setup of Bhaderwah . We have covered 10 sensitive as well as entry and exit points of Bhasderwah town under CCTV network and control room will be established at Police Station Bhaderwah which will work 24 hours ,” Raj Singh Gouria ASP Bhaderwah said . It should detect intrusion, trip wise crossing detection, with a switching capacity of 20 GBPs, according to officials. “The WWSs must have trigger-based locking units with GPS trackers so that they cannot be misused and can be speedily traced,” officials said. Officials said that this is aimed to bring further transparency in the system and ensure security.
