As prevailing situation is not showing its end, and all the people especially students are suffering due to this. The Joint CR Association wants to convey a message to Kashmir University Authorities via The Chenab Times that students of KU have been suffering from serious mental disorder due to the prevailing situation since August 5, 2019. It has been more than 10 months now, the intermediate semester and the fresh batch of 2019, both are on the same page. On the other side, the current situation doesn’t seems to be ending soon, so the CR’s as “The Joint CR Association” are requesting the Hon’ble authorities to consider the following points which are as under;
That students are not able to undergo any mode of examination, as mentioned in the recent article notified by the University.
The combined examination process is none the less creating panic among students, as students have already experienced such situations in Bachelors, thus should not entertain.
The University must follow the UGC guidlines which says, “The intermediate semester students should be promoted based on their previous record and assignments. The fresh batch 2019 should be promoted based on internal assignments. The special examination should be conduct later on to improve the grades for their specific subject.(TCT)
