On a specific information about the dealing of narcotics between unknown persons in Basooni in the intervening night of 21/22.10.2020 SDPO Mendhar Zaheer Abbas Jafri alongwith police party of SHO Mendhar launched searches in the area.During search they recovered narcotics (Heroin like substance) in three packets weighing 3.2 kg .In this regard Case FIR No.247/2020 at police Station Mendhar has been lodged and investigation is going on to trace its linkages .
People of the area have appreciated the role of police in recovery of this huge quantity of narcotics and trying to curb this menace which spoils the youth of the area.
