Iqbal Bazm-e-adab in collaboration with Jk Cultural Academy organized multilingual Mushaira

Iqbal Bazm-E-Adab Bhaderwah in collaboration with the academy of art, culture, and languages organized a ‘Multilingual Mushaira (literary event)’ on 23rd Nov at Lal Ded Auditorium Bhaderwah Campus of Jammu University, which was participated by the renowned poets of Chenab Valley. President of Iqbal Bazm-E-Adab Bhaderwah, the oldest literary society in the region, Mr. Suhail Siddiqui Nasir thanked the Secretary of Academy Mr. Munner-Ul-Islam for organizing and supporting such a grand event following all the precautionary measures.

Literary Society ‘Iqbal Bazm-E-Adab Bhaderwah’ has been instrumental in organizing literary events such as symphonies, seminars, and poetic sessions to boost the budding poets, now and then and this Mushaira shall play a great deal to draw out the hidden talent and boost the morale of nascent and promising poets. Besides Mushaira, Gulab Saifi a renowned poet has also been honored by Mr. Suhail Siddiqui Nasir, President, Iqbal Bazm-E-Adab Bhaderwah, for his services and introducing and innovating a new literary form “Trayut to the Kashmiri literature. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gulab Saifi, who happened to be an official of AACL Jammu and Kashmir, said that this is our initiative to boost the young poets so that they can get a chance to share dice with legendary poets. He also praised the efforts of Mr. Suhail Siddiqui for organizing such literary activities and having the zeal to offer his services for such events.

Mushaira was presided over by renowned poet and writer Mr. Talib Hussain Rind and Zeeshan Tahir Tehsildar Bhaderwah, SDPO Mr. Gafoor and famous female poet Nabeen Shoukeen showed their blessings as Cheif Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Mushaira was conducted by famous poet and president of forum Mr. Suheel Siddiqui Nasir in a mesmeric way. Mr. Sajid Sarmadi in his welcome address paid gratitude to all the guests, participating poets, and audience. He also acknowledged the role of the cultural academy, administration, and media fraternity for their active co-operation.

Poets who recited their poetry includes Mr. Rehmat from Kishtwar, Mr. Asim Faridi from Doda, Mr.Taskeen Badanvi from Thatri, Mr. Museeb and Hakeem Jaan Mohammed from Bhalessa, and Famous Poets from Bhaderwah Including Mr. Sagar Sehrai, Mr. Zahir Bhaderwahi, Mr. Chander Kant Amandeep, Mr. Krishan Lal Parvana and other budding and young poets.

In the concluding speech, the chief guest recognized the efforts of Mr. Muneer-ul-Islam for organizing such a beautiful event and assured the audience for organizing such literary activities in near future also.
