Delhi Violence: The police denied the role of Mishra’s speech in inciting the riot, while the Delhi Minorities Commission report says that the violence started only after Mishra’s speech. On 23 February last year, Mishra in his controversial speech had threatened to remove those protesting against the amended Citizenship Act (CAA) on the road in Jaffarabad.
The riots in the capital Delhi last year have completed one year today. It is believed that there were riots in Delhi on the next day of Kapil Mishra’s speech.
I will do what I have done- Kapil Mishra

Former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kapil Mishra said, “Whenever roads are blocked and people are prevented from going to work or children to school, there will always be Kapil Mishra to stop it.” On the release of the book named, “I have done what I have done, I will do it again.” I have no regrets except that I could not save the lives of Dinesh Khatik, Ankit Sharma (riot victim) and many others. This book is “a ray of hope” against “dangerous propaganda” against him, under which he is being blamed for the riots.
Referring to the violence that erupted during the demonstration against agricultural laws on Republic Day, Mishra said that “this model from demonstration to riot is very clear.” Mishra said, “What more way to give ultimatum (final warning) in democracy is? I did this in front of a police officer. Do people who start riots give ultimatums to the police? ”

Violence started only after Mishra’s speech – Delhi Minorities Commission
The police denied the role of Mishra’s speech in inciting the riot, while the Delhi Minorities Commission report in July last year said that the violence started only after Mishra’s speech.
‘Delhi Reuters 2020: The Untold Story’ came into prominence in August last year when Bloomsbury refused to print the book, as it criticized Mishra for inviting him as a guest in the book’s pre-release online release. Had to face it. Later this book was published by Garuda Prakashan Private Limited.
