In continuation of the efforts to reach out to the local youth the Indian Army conducted a motivational programme at Govt Higher Secondary School, Majakote, Rajouri. 11 Sarpanches, 34 teachers, 16 local villagers, 253 Students of Govt Higher Secondary School, Majakote attended the programme. The students gave their speech on the topic “Drugs are the Enemy of life”. Army officers and JCOs also delivered lectures on the same and motivated the youths.

The lectures were well received by keen audience. Many students raised their queries which were well explained by the officer and JCOs. The team from the Patrara Army Camp, Galuthi, appreciated the efforts of the students and gifted prizes to students for their well prepared speech. Refreshments was also organized by Army. School staff and Civil dignitaries highly appreciated the efforts of Indian Army for winning over the hearts and minds of the local population specially the students and requested to conduct similar programme in future also.
