Cleanliness drive programme for the locals and students at Patrara

In continuation to the efforts to reach out to the Aawam, a week long cleanliness drive programme for the locals and students of Patrara, Kakora and Dehri Ralyote is in progress. The Indian Army at Patrara camp in Rajouri District delivered motivational speech on the topic ‘Clean India, Green India’ and ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ to the students and motivated them to take part in cleaning the surrounding and saving the mother ‘Earth’.

Sarpanches and Naib Sarpanches also took part in the cleanliness drive. 46 local villagers, 11 teachers and 266 students carried out the cleanliness drive programme and made it a grant success. The team from the Patrara Army Camp, Galuthi, appreciated the efforts of the students and local villagers. The programme will be further conducted at different schools and locations throughout the week. School staff and Civil dignitaries highly appreciated the efforts of Indian Army for conducting of cleanliness drive and keeping environment clean and thereby winning over the hearts and minds of the local population and requested to conduct similar programme in future also.
