Today at about 1100 hrs Ziyarat Gaurd Bandharkoot Incharge Sgct Ajeet Kumar 728/KTR informed that one lady namely Tanzeema Begum W/O Tanveer Ahmed R/O Cherah, Kishtwar Age abt 32 yrs was trying to commit suicide by jumping into the river Chenab from Zerayat Bridge Bandharkoot but the timely action of alert sentry on duty SPO Abdul Gani Belt No. 289/SPO along with SPO Abdul Rasheed Belt No. 1002/SPO saved the precious life by catching hold of the said lady before jumping into the river. After proper counseling, the said lady has been handed over to her husband on supardnama.
