A teenager allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in Rezan area of Gund in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
An official told that the boy (name withheld) was found hanging with a ceiling fan at his home.
The official said that he was immediately rushed to PHC Kullan, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
He said proceedings have been initiated to know the reason as to why the boy took this extreme step.
