Body of 70-year-old “mentally unsound” woman was found along the banks of a river near Loran Brachar in Poonch district, officials said on Friday.
They said the body was found at about 09:30 a.m. and was later identified to be Mateena Begum (70) daughter of khawja Kabir Din of Brachar Loran.
“She was mentally disturbed and was missing from her home from yesterday evening,” a police official told GNS. Soon after the information, Police party rushed to the spot and retrieved the body for further enquiry, he said.
