The authorities have booked four persons under the stringent public safety act (PSA) for a “sacrilegious” act that triggered widespread protests a week ago in a village in Rajouri district.
Official sources told that four persons hailing from Gunda village of Kotranka sub-division in Rajouri district were booked under PSA for the “sacrilegious” act, which was committed by them on 13 May.
They said that taking their act seriously and an attempt to create large scale law and order situation in the area, district magistrate Rajouri booked all the four persons under PSA.
