Chenab Valley: Poppy Cultivation is Destroyed by Kishtwar Police in Kishtwar’s Lower Hullar

Continuing its efforts to rid society of the drug menace, Kishtwar Police, along with officers from the Revenue and Excise Departments, destroyed poppy cultivation in the village of Lower Hullar in the Kishtwar area.

Lower Hullar Poppy Cultivation is Destroyed by Kishtwar Police

A Kishtwar Police party led by Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar Sh. Devinder Singh Bandral, SHO PS Kishtwar, Naib Tehsildar Sh. Javid Ahmed, and Excise Department Insp. Sh. Tousif Wani destroyed poppy cultivation in the Lower Hullar area of Kishtwar.

As a result, a case FIR No. 118/2021 has been filed in the appropriate police station under the relevant parts of the law, and an investigation has begun.

Sh. Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS, SSP Kishtwar, is requesting the general public of Kishtwar to come forward with any information regarding persons found indulging in drug peddling and cultivation of contraband substances.
