A massive fire broke out in the Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) division office here in Srinagar’s Gogjibagh area, destroying two government vehicles as well as some records, including employee service books.
According to official sources, a fire broke out in the building housing the I&FC division office in the Gogjibagj area, according to reports.
They added that the blaze damaged some departmental records, including employee service books, as well as two government vehicles with registration numbers JK01-1504 and JKD-6484.
According to an official source, fore tenders have rushed to the scene to put out the flames, with the cause of the fire being a short circuit.
They stated that the investigation into the matter has begun.
