Police Issue a Statement Regarding the Parimpora Incident

Malhoora was the subject of a police statement released on Tuesday.

“There was specific information about (militants) attacking a highway.” A few joint nakas of JKP and CRPF were placed along the highway due to the seriousness of the input. A vehicle was stopped on Parimpora Naka, and their identity was inquired about.” According to police, the passenger in the back seat attempted to open his bag and pulled out a grenade.

“The Naka party swung into action quickly and grabbed the passenger in the back seat. Both the driver and the passenger in the back seat were taken to the police station, where it was discovered that the passenger was terrorist Abrar, a top LeT commander, after removing his mask.” JKP, CRPF, and Army interrogated him in a joint operation.

According to police, he had a pistol and hand grenades in his possession. “He disclosed that he had kept his AK-47 rifle in a house located at Maloora after sustained interrogation by joint teams of JKP, CRPF, and Army,” police said.

“After laying a proper cordon around the suspected house, he was taken to that house to recover the weapon.”
When the party entered the house to recover the alleged weapon, one of his associates, a Pakistani militant “(about whom he didn’t disclose anything),” who was hiding inside the house, opened fire on them.

Three CRPF personnel were injured in the initial firefight, and the Abrar that was accompanying the search party was also hit, according to the police.

“The injured SF personnel were evacuated, and the remainder of the party took up position and requested reinforcements. The target house’s cordon was reinforced by JKP, CRPF, and Army personnel, and the fire was retaliated.”

Foreign militants firing from inside the house were “neutralised” in the ensuing gunfire, and Abrar was killed as well. The location yielded two AK-47 rifles as well as ammunition.

“It’s worth noting that Abrar, along with other militants, was involved in several SF killings.
