On Thursday, a driver was killed and four others were injured in an accident in Zamorpattan, Uri, Baramulla district, north Kashmir.
A van with the registration number JK05J-3012 skidded off the road and into deep nallah, according to the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
In the accident at Zamoorpattan Uri, the vehicle’s driver died on the spot, while four others were injured.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Ismail Khan of Zamoorpattam Uri, according to official sources.
The injured were rushed to GMC Baramulla Hospital, where one of them was referred to Mohra Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the incident has been reported to the police, and an investigation has begun.
