Kashmir: Cloudburst hits near Amarnath Cave Shrine, no damage reported says Officials

On Wednesday, a cloudburst hit near the Holy Amarnath Cave shrine, officials said, adding that no one was killed or injured in the incident.

According to sources of The Chenab Times, no Yatris were present at the cave at the time of the cloudburst near the cave, so there was no loss of life or injury report.

He stated that two SDRF teams have already arrived at the cave, with a third SDRF team being dispatched from the Ganderbal district.

Meanwhile, the civil administration and police have asked residents of Gund and Kangan to stay away from the Sindh River.

“In light of the continuous rains and the reported cloud burst at the holy cave shrine, the general public in Gund and Kangan is advised to stay away from the Sindh River, as there may be a sudden increase in water flow,” said SDPO Kangan.
