Between the 13th and 14th of August 2021, a DD Extract No 30 of Police Post Kahara was received in this Police Station through special messenger, stating that in the intervening night, SI Sh Ram Parshad Incharge SOG Camp Gandoh, along with nafri of 4RR and SSB 7th Bn reported in this Police Post, along with a written docket stating that, on 13 August, they located a hideout about 1645 hours and recovered a big stockpile of weaponry and ammunition from it, including a 12 bore gun, a Chinese pistol, five hand grenades, a Desi katta, and a large number of ammo and explosives of all types, as well as some paperwork.
Unknown militants illegally abandoned the seized weaponry and ammunition during the insurgency era in order to instil terror in the area and disrupt the state of Jammu and Kashmir’s peace.
As a result, case FIR No 81/2021 U/S 16/18 ULA Act 7/25,3/25 Arms Act,4/5 ES Act 121-A IPC has been filed in this P/S, and the matter is being investigated.
