Six Patwaris were suspended on Saturday after the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, found of their dereliction of duty by six Revenue Department employees.
The Deputy Commissioner issued an order suspending six Patwaries who had been transferred pursuant to NO. 21-DCS of 2021 on August 02, 2021 but had failed to comply with the directives. Despite the fact that the aforementioned Patwaries were repeatedly told to report to their new assignments, the officials disobeyed the orders.
The aforementioned officials’ refusal to join the Patwar halqas where they were lately posted has caused inconvenience to the general population of the halqas, and significant action has been taken in this regard.
All of the suspended Patwaris were assigned to the Srinagar Deputy Commissioner’s office. In addition, the Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Srinagar, has been directed to conduct an immediate investigation into the dereliction of responsibilities and submit the findings and recommendations within seven days of the order’s issue.
