Kishtwar Police arrested five trouble mongers for sharing ‘objectionable content’ on social media

On 31.8.2021, a case FIR No. 206/2021 PS Kishtwar was filed under relevant sections of the IPC in response to the dissemination of objectionable content on social media.

Due to the sensitivity of the case, SSP Kishtwar formed a special investigation team (SIT) led by DYSP HQ Sh Devinder Singh and overseen by Adl. SP Kishtwar Sh Rajinder Singh for the immediate arrest of the accused. After putting up a lot of work, the SIT was able to apprehend 5 people who had committed the crime. The investigation into the issue is still ongoing, and anyone discovered to be involved will be dealt with appropriately.

Furthermore, the miscreants have been cautioned not to distribute any content that may disrupt the area’s peace and community harmony, or else legal action will be taken against them.
