Police File Cases Against Geelani’s Family, ‘Miscreants’

Following the death of Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani late Wednesday evening, police have filed a case against his family and relatives for “unlawful acts.”

According to Kashmir-based news agency GNS, in addition to the family and relatives, a case (FIR No 277/2021) has been filed against several “miscreants” who engaged in “unlawful activities” at Geelani’s residence on September 1 evening.
