The Top 10 Criminals in the World: Based on our research, we are going to write a list of the top 10 criminals in the world. This topic became trending in 2014 after Narendra Modi, who is currently the Prime Minister of India, appeared on Google at number one when anybody searched for “Top 10 Criminals in the World”. For which, Google has apologised to Modi and in a statement they said, “These results trouble us and are not reflective of the opinions of Google.” Not only is Modi on the list of the ‘top 10 criminals in the world’, including former US president George Bush and Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, according to the BBC.

What is a criminal?

So, in a simple definition, a criminal as a noun means a person who does something illegal. As an adjective, it means a person who is morally wrong or a person who is connected with crime.

In the list of the top 10 criminals in the world, The Chenab Times has categorised the list according to the highest reward given to the investigative agencies on them.

Rafael Caro Quintero

Former Mexican cartel leader Caro Quintero is wanted for his role in the 1985 kidnapping and murder of DEA agent Enrique Camarena Salazar, his pilot Alfredo Zavala Avelar, American writer John Clay Walker, and dental student Alberto Radelat. He spent 28 years in prison in Mexico until being freed in 2013; shortly after his release, a new arrest order was issued. For information leading to his apprehension, a reward of $20,000,000 is being offered, which is the greatest such reward currently available.

Jose Rodolfo Villarreal-Hernandez

Villarreal-Hernandez is wanted for directing someone to track down and murder a man in May 2013 in Southlake, Texas. For information leading to his capture, a reward of up to $1,000,000 is being offered.

Jason Derek Brown

Brown is wanted in Phoenix, Arizona, for murder and armed robbery. Authorities say he shot and murdered an armoured car guard outside a movie theatre in November 2004 and then fled on a bicycle with $56,000 in a duffel bag. For information leading to his capture, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $200,000. He may have departed the country and is now living in France or Thailand, according to authorities.

Robert Fisher

Fisher is wanted for killing his wife, Mary, and their two children, Robert Jr. and Brittney, in April 2001, and then blowing up their home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Investigators suspect he killed his family because he was afraid of his wife’s plans to divorce him. He is suspected of being the mastermind behind the natural gas explosion. The FBI has set a $100,000 reward for the person who gives the information that helps them arrest Robert.

Alexis Flores

Flores is wanted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the kidnapping, rape, and murder of five-year-old Iriana DeJesus in July 2000. After serving a jail sentence in Arizona for forgery, he was deported to Honduras in 2005. After his deportation, his DNA was linked to the DeJesus crime, and he was added to the list with a $100,000 reward.

Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel

Patel, an Indian national, is accused of stabbing and killing his wife in a doughnut shop in Hanover, Maryland. He was last seen getting on a shuttle to Newark’s Pennsylvania Station. He has ties to Canada, India, New Jersey, Kentucky, Georgia, and Illinois, according to investigators. According to Wikipedia, there is a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Alejandro Castillo

Castillo is wanted in connection with the August 2016 murder of Truc Quan “Sandy” Ly Le, a 23-year-old woman with whom he had previously dated. While working together in a Charlotte restaurant, the two became acquainted. The authorities have set a $100,000 reward for information leading to the capture of him.

Arnoldo Jimenez

Jimenez is wanted for the May 12, 2012 murder of his wife. Just hours after their wedding, Jimenez allegedly stabbed his wife to death. Her body was discovered in a bathtub at her Burbank, Illinois residence. For information leading to his capture, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000.

Eugene Palmer

Palmer is wanted for the murder of his daughter-in-law in Stony Point, New York, on September 24, 2012. There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to his capture.

Octaviano Juarez-Corro

Juarez-Corro is wanted for allegedly murdering two people and injuring three others in a park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in May 2006. A reward of $100,000 is being offered for information leading to his capture.
